Younique 3D Fibre Lash Mascara Review

This weekend I had the chance to try out a new mascara: the Moodstruck 3D Fibre Lash from Younique and I wanted to share with you my 1st impressions! How it works: You start off by applying a thin coat of your everyday mascara and let it dry. Then you apply the transplanting gel and right away you apply the fibers and then lock it all in with another coat of gel. Quick & easy! Packaging: I won’t lie, I’m a sucker for packaging! The case is really chic and slick – love it! The fact that there are two applicators seemed…

DOT & LIL

Last Wednesday, I had the opportunity to attend a fantastic event – the launch of Dot & Lil’s Spring 2015 Collection. The event took place in a hidden gem of the Villeray: Boutique Articho, where bloggers & you tubers flocked to get a first look at the new collection. It was the 1st time I was introduced to this brand of bath, body & home products. This Montreal-based company was founded 7 years ago by the lovely & charming Anne Dardick, and it thrives itself at producing 100% handmade soaps, body washes, bath milks & salts, as well as other skincare &…

THE FACE SHOP

I have discovered a little gem in the heart of downtown Montreal: The Face Shop. Located in the Eaton Centre (metro level), a Korean shop has open its doors and I have literary raided its shelves! They have everything from makeup to skincare and at extremely affordable prices. Above is a sample of what I purchased: a blush, face kit (including 3 face masks, face wash & makeup remover) as well as a hand cream in a small jar shaped like a kitten. The products are very good quality & I will be returning there for sure! I recommended you…

I’m not sure why, I guess I just thought I couldn’t pull it off, especially rich colors such as coral, hot pink or red. I still remember the first day I bought my 1st lipstick, not a gloss, but a real lipstick in a red shade. I was so…

ST-TROPEZ SELF TAN BRONZING LOTION

Summer is sadly coming to an end & so it that gorgeous summer tan! My skin color is naturally pearl white, but with heavy skin conditioning through trips to the South, it gained a little bit of color, yet still turns pale & pasty in the winter. I’m sure a lot of you ladies can relate to this, especially if you live in the rough Montreal weather. If you want to hold on to that summer glow into fall and winter, I have a solution! In my youth, I liked tanning salons, but as I got older, I realized…

SEPHORA SPRING SOCIAL VIP ROUGE EVENT

Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m a little obsessed with make-up – hence my VIP Rouge status. Do I regret it? Not even for a second :) This past weekend Sephora was organizing a VIP Rouge event for Spring, offering 15% off on everything in store + a make-up bag full of samples. I took full advantage of this event to stack up on all the make-up I was running out on + try some new products. Here is a little review of the goodies I got! Some of my favourites & some newbies. 1- Sephora collection anti-shine foundation primer:…
