Hope you guys had an amazing weekend! Mine was intense – I had a dinner on Friday, wedding dress shopping & baby shower, as well as visiting a friend who just had a baby on Saturday & a photo shoot on Sunday, ending the day at my mom’s place. Although I love to be busy, I am seriously starting to looking forward to a vacation – I need to start planning! Today’s post is all about these cool products I tried from EOS (Evolution of Smooth), which specializes in skincare & lip care products! It’s 100% natural & 95% organic certified! Here are my thoughts:
Coconut lip balm : I gotta admit that I love everything coconut, so it comes as no surprise that I am absolutely crazy about this lip balm! It smells & tastes like coconut – yummy!!! It glides on clear & it’s very moisturising. My lips are always dry, so I always apply either lip blam, lip gloss or a moisturising lipstick! What I love most about it is that it’s composed of natural products! It’s enriched with shea butter, antioxidant vitamins C & E and natural conditioning oils. I really like the cute egg like shape and the twist off top as well :)
Blueberry Acai lip balm: Once again, this lip balm smells & tastes really good, however I would have liked it to smell more like blueberries, I feel the smell is a little too subtle. Other than that, this products is natural & organic! It also provides a lot of moisture like the coconut one & it’s packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E as well as soothing shea butter and jojoba oil. Same cute shape as the coconut lip blam. I’ll be using them both throughout the year for sure!
Vanilla bliss shave cream: I’m curious to know if any woman out there likes to shave her legs. I seriously hate it & dread it when I have to do it lol. Luckily I don’t have a lot of hair on my legs, so I can easily go 2-3 days without having to shave again (thank God!) My skin is very sensitive & it gets itchy & dry after a shave, I think that’s why I don’t like shaving. My 1st impression with this shave cream was confusing, lol – it clearly says shave CREAM so I should have known it would not foam, yet I expected it to foam for some reason hahaha. I guess it’s b/c I usually use shaving products that foam! A second look at the label made me understand that it’s basically like a cream, you apply it on your skin and then you shave. The shave was smooth, but the aftermath is what surprised me the most – my legs were soooooo smooth!!! I kept on touching them lol, I absolutely loved it! This shave cream is packed with natural shea butter, vitamins B3, C & E, green tea and grape seed extract, not to mention that it’s enriched with aloe and oat extract to help prevent nicks and razor bumps. I can vouch for that – zero bumps after the shave :) I usually like to shave in the shower, but apparently you can also use this product for a dry shave – I will try it out next time to see!
Cucumber hand lotion: Oh, if my lips get dry, what can I say about my hands? I hate having dry hands!!! I use hand cream ALL THE TIME, especially in winter, or after using nail polish remover, or after washing dishes, or after cleaning….ok ALL THE TIME! lol I love the smell of this hand lotion – cucumber products always smell so good! Since it’s a lotion, rather than a cream, you need to wait a few seconds for it to absorb but the results is total smoothness! This product is natural & jam packed with nourishing shea butter, aloe, oats & antioxidants and it’s hypo-allergenic.
