GUERLAIN

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending a private event hosted by Guerlain at the W hotel where they presented their new Holiday Collection over a glass of bubbly! We were lucky enough to have Maxime Poulin, an international beauty artist & member of the Guerlain team, show us his tips & tricks of applying Guerlain’s new makeup collection, which btw is absolutely dreamy! The packaging, the textures & the smell are glamorous! Today, I would like to tell you about these little gems I received at this event!

KissKiss Creamy Satin Finish Lipstick: First of all, let’s talk about the packaging – 3 words: sleek, chic & glam! Like with all Guerlain’s products, the packaging it’s impeccable & the lipstick is beautiful. The color itself looks very saturated, but it’s actually sheer when applied on the lip, which makes it perfect for day wear and it’s on the orange side of the color spectrum! It’s moisturizing, which is my number 1 concern when I try on a lipstick as my lips usually get really dry, so this is simply perfect. In addition, it stays on for a long time, contrary to most sheer lipsticks.

L’Or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold Makeup Base: Wow – 1st reaction I had opening this box! The packaging is simply decadent & the gold pieces shine through the bottle, making this look like a real gem! This primer is so moisturizing, smells good & provides an instant flow & sleek airbrush finish! Don’t get scared of the gold particles, they blend in perfectly at the moment of application. Love this product! 

Maxilash Intense Volume Mascara: This mascara is perfect for lengthening the lashes for a sleek & sophisticated look. It definitely provides more length & definition than volume, but the result is drama & no clumps! It has a nice floral smell & it applies on really smoothly. It comes off easily with any makeup remover and of course the packaging is stunning!
