STAY FIT DURING THE HOLIDAYS

The holiday season is amongst us! I don’t know about you, but I haven’t been to the gym in over a week. Between Christmas shopping, dinner parties & family gatherings, the gym simply became last on my priorities list. However, I decided that I still needed to do something to stay fit. Above are things I am trying to do on a regular basis at home to get some exercise when it’s crunch time. If you have a wii, doing a just dance video or using the wii fit are fun ways of getting a little exercise, while entertaining yourself in…

JEWELRY ORGANIZATION

I am a jewelry fanatic, there I said it! Yes, I am absolutely, positively obsessed with bracelets, necklaces, rings & earrings! They don’t need to be very expensive, just pretty! However, I’ve always found them hard to organize. I had many small jewelry boxes, and I could never find anything in all that mess. My necklaces would all get tangled up & it took hours to get them untangled. Finally, my mom bought me a huge jewelry chest for Christmas a few years ago and I cannot imagine my life without it, no joke (lol). It has various compartments designed for specific jewelry pieces & everything is very well…

PIEROGI

I’m polish & it’s tradition to have pierogi for Christmas, so I need to get on the bandwagon and make some of these from scratch! They’re basically dumplings filled with your favorite stuffing: potato and cheese (featured in this recipe), meat, mushrooms, etc. My favorite is potato & cheese & that’s why I decided to share this recipe with you guys. The only ingredient I will not be using is the recommended processed cheese sauce. Also, Poles often use ricotta cheese instead of cheddar cheese, so I will most likely be substituting that as well. It’s delicious and ricotta cheese has tons of protein!…

WOMEN ARE GOOD INVESTORS – A MUST READ

Women are good investors, sometimes better than men… We have all heard the saying that men are from Mars & Women are from Venus & quite frankly this saying is not far from the truth. Men & women are often stuck in gender stereotypes such as the woman being the caregiver and the man being the breadwinner. These stereotypes are becoming instinct and more women are achieving career and financial success. There are however still many characteristics that make a man a man and make a woman a woman. Men and women have different approaches when it comes to investing. Some…

NYE ATTIRE

Do you prefer this one ladies? I bought this dress at Forever 21 last year & didn’t end up wearing it b/c instead of a going to a big party, I opted for a relaxing house dinner celebration, so the dress wasn’t suitable for that occasion. It’s very shiny & covered with sequins, so I would recommend something like this if you’re planning to celebrate NYE in a club or an organized party either in a hall, hotel or even at home, as long as it fits the dress code. Cheers gurls! :) Dress – Forever 21 Heels – Le Chateau Clutch – Forever…
