NONIE – NYFW SS19

Simplicity & sophistication reigned this runway! Black, white, red & yellow were the main colours featured during this show. From the moment I have seen Megan Markle wear one of Nonie’s pieces, I was extremely excited to check out this designer! The craftsmanship & attention to focus on detail is what makes this minimalist outfits stand out. A little sheering here, a tie at the neck string, a belt, a wide cuff – every little detail is highlighted and celebrated. The fabrics used in these garments looks luxurious from the shiny silk to the chiffon. Every outfit is classy, with…

NYFW – DAY 2

For this 2nd NYFW outfit, I went with one of my favorite brands: Zara! As you probably already seen it plastered all over the place: plaid is huge this Fall! A plaid blazer, jacket, dress, skirt, top – whatever you like, it’s ‘IN’! What else is in? Orange & athleisure details! So, when I saw this little orange gem at Zara, I knew my outfit would revolve around this skirt. I wanted to combine the various trends and create a cool look that would be NYFW worthy, but that I could deconstruct and mix & match with a tons of…

CUSTO BARCELONA – SS19 NYFW

What a show! Custo Barcelona surely knows how to wow the audience. The runway featured a beautiful array of perfectly intertwined colors, as well as lots of sequins, and a great mix of fabrics & textures. Lots of metallics in silver, gold, copper, as well as bold colors like hot pink & blue. All the pieces were feminine and ultra sexy and I wouldn’t mind if any of them creeped into my closet for Spring. From one piece suits, to coats, skirts & tops – every piece was crafted to perfection. My perception of this runway was that it evoked…

HOW TO TAKE INSTAGRAM PHOTOS

You don’t need a fancy camera or a professional photographer to take a great insta-worthy picture. All the pictures featured in this post were taken with an iPhone! All you really need is the following: 1-Smartphone – I use the iPhone8Plus – the camera on this phone is outstanding and it allows you to take blurry background photos if you take a close up, like the Daniel Wellington picture below! 2-An editing app – Sometimes the lightening is simply not ideal, so you need to play around with the exposure and contrast. I love to use VSCO. I know a…
