NYFW OUTFIT DAY 4

For my NYFW outfit day 4, I wanted to pull all my outfits together into a cohesive bunch, so I chose this Zara leopard print skirt (old – also love this LIKELY Shopbop leopard skirt)! Since I started with leopard, I thought I could end with leopard ;) As already mentioned in my post from NYFW day 1, animal print is IN, so I decided to stack print on print with these Aldo snake print ankle boots. Don’t be afraid to mix different prints together ladies, leopard and snake print mix very well together! I wanted to give this outfit…

NYFW FW19 LAURENCE & CHICO

This runway spoke to the professional working woman! It was filled with beautiful tailored suits and separates that you could actually pull off the runway and wear to work or mix up for a night out or the weekend. Main fabrics were tweed, denim & fur with intricate embroidery, stripe and check patterns, pearl details & lots of fun bows. Featured in this post are some of my absolute favorite looks. It was really hard to pinpoint which outfit from this Thai Thai Land Collection I loved the most, as there were so many good ones, but I would have…

NYFW OUTFIT DAY 3

I must admit, it was pretty much love at 1st sight with this Zara mustard yellow suit. Yellow being a HUGE trend this season, it was a must for this NYFW outfit Day 3! The blazer is double breasted, perfectly structured and it pretty much fits like a glove. The wide leg pants make the legs look long for days! Both pieces can easily be mixed and matched to create a ton of fun looks. The blazer can be worn with jeans, trousers, skirts or even dresses. The pants can be mixed with a white blouse, a blue sweater, a…

NYFW FW19 NONIE

I saw Nonie’s runway show in September (SP19) and I was blown away by the effortless, yet chic & sophisticated style (very Working Chix if I may say)! This FW19 Nonie collection followed the same idea with a few surprises! It was characterized by relaxed silhouettes & minimalist looks. The colours that dominated the runway were black, camel, with pops of burnt orange, as well as a surprise leopard print coat (love, love, love) & a floral jumpsuit. The fabrics looked luxurious, accentuating the craftsmanship of each piece. The attention to detail should not go unnoticed, with touches of lace,…

NYFW FW19 HAKAN AKKAYA

Hakan Akkaya’s runway show was a mix of glam & rock’n roll! The main colours that reigned over this catwalk were black, white, as well as metallic gold & silver. There were a ton of sparkle, shine, studs & spikes, as well as hints of animal print. My favourite looks featured fur & sequin, making them look edgy & luxe. The collection included some amazing dresses, coats, skirts & tops. I selected some of my favourite looks in this post, with my absolute fave being the beautiful one shoulder dress featured above and the black & white stipe fur coat…

NYFW OUTFIT – DAY 2

NYFW Outfit – Day 2 was an easy one to create! I cannot get enough of check suits – so on trend & stylish, and they look amazing with a coat pulled over the shoulders (very #streetstyle, yet high fashion & very Working Chix)! So, for this look, I partnered with Le Chateau, as they always have an amazing selection of suits, many of of which are made in Canada. Needless to say, it was a match made in heaven as I found the most perfect check suit featuring this fitted blazer in grey with a hint of white and…
