Although I love Summer, Fall has to be my favourite season of the year, and the reason is simple: Fashion. I’m obsessed with blazers (I counted 21 in my wardrobe…), lightweight sweaters (too many to count), midi skirts & jackets. It’s so easy to put together and elevate an outfit with something so simple as a blazer! You just can’t go wrong, and that’s why I selected it to be the anchor of the 1st Shopbop outfit that I put together for Back to Work. This Lioness The Don Jacket in check is stunning and I love the beige undertone. Anything beige or copper tone is very hot this season, so even though I already own a check blazer, this one must come home with me! I paired the blazer with these white AGOLDE hi rise straight Riley jeans, which you can substitute for white trouser if you work in the corporate setting, a brown belt from FRAME to wear on top of the blazer to accentuate the waist, and this stunning Coach 1941 Signature Riley Top Handle 18 handbag that you can match with so many different outfits. This outfit is modern, trendy & perfect for work. It can of course be deconstructed and worn with various pieces in your wardrobe to create other work outfits or to wear on the weekend! All of these goodies are currently sitting in my cart and will be in my wardrobe soon!
For my second look, I picked this absolutely gorgeous J.O.A. twist detail overlap skirt in this rust color with polka dots (I’m obsessed!!!) and I built the outfit around it. For Fall, a light cream sweater is perfect over this skirt, so I selected this Autumn Cashmere shaker sweater – I love the slightly puff sleeves (also a huge trend this season)! Of course, this skirt can also be worn with a blouse or even a t-shirt an a blazer on top for an office look – which you can later remove for an easy after-work look. I love midi skirts with booties, so I chose these stunners: Miista Marcelle Croc Booties in black & I paired them with this incredible Chanel classic quilted bag, which I own and love from Shopbop! It was my biggest ticket item I have purchased on the website, but it was an amazing investment, as it goes with absolutely everything, makes any outfit look more expensive and I get compliments on it all the time – wins all around! ;) Finally, to add a little touch (details are everything), I topped off the outfit with this Maison Irem coin necklace in gold – coin necklaces being big this season, and of course looking stunning with every outfit, this one is a must.
