Working chix rejoice: a huge trend of Fall 2017 is…dromroll please: suiting! From Celine to Victoria Beckham – designers are loving suits. What does this mean? Being stylish at work & winning at office fashion has never been more simple! Not to mention versatile, since you can swap the blazer or pant with other pieces, creating multiple outfits. One of the most prevelent trends in suiting are checks, so I went for a hunt!

It wasn’t a long one to be honest, b/c I stumbled on the perfect check suit at Le Chateau. They have an amazing Suit Shop with an extensive collection, but this one just caught my eye. The heather grey color with the subtle check print, Made in Canada- love at 1st sight. The fit was perfection, so much so that the store manager asked “Can we put your in the window for the rest of the day?” – now if that’s not a compliment, I don’t know what is! The pants I selected were on a drawstring b/c I thought they were super comfy and really cool (a little sporty/ edgy don’t you think?) Finally, I was so happy to discover the Le Chateau FLEX collection – added comfort and flexibility, which is exactly what I look for in work appropriate shoes. I love heels but I hate to wear them, so these are perfect to spend my entire day in!

When looking for a suit, be sure to consider:

1-The fit: Make sure that the blazer hits you at the edge of the shoulder, but that you can still move your arms around comfortably. Quick check: lift up your arms – if you can’t, the fit it not right.

2-The fabric: Quality, Comfort, Style – I call it the QCS factor (totally made that up that acronym just now, but it works no?)

3-Style: Have fun with it!
