NAVY BLUE KIMONO

The best way to start the weekend is with good weather in the forecast – TGIF!!! :) Especially when there is a huge weekend ahead of me filled with family time, bbq, bday party and other festivities. It may not be 4th of July here, but it sure feels like it to me. On that note, I would like to wish a happy 4th of July to all my readers from USA!!! :) May it be filled with love, laughter and tons of food!!! hehe

Today’s look is beach-like-chic, inspired by the beach but perfect for city life. Great outfit to wear to a brunch, run errands or go shopping! This navy kimono is another piece from my collaboration with Matinique In Wear, however this one is from the Soaked in Luxury line. They have stunning & classic pieces! It’s this kimono that adds chicness to this otherwise very casual outfit. As for the rest of the outfit, t-shirt, shorts & bag, I snagged them all during the Zara sales last year (their sale has officially started 2 weeks ago, in case you wanted to check it out)! I got these adorable flat sandals from winners for like $25 and I regret not getting two pairs b/c I seem to not be able to walk with flat sandals without destroying them, lol! Every summer, I get a new pair and ruin them by scraping the front of the sandals against the sidewalk or just the pavement in general. It’s mystery to me, but it always seems to happen – I don’t deserve expensive flat sandals, lol, so I should always equip myself with two cheaper pairs.
