Pastels are one of the biggest trends this Spring/Summer (if one of these seasons decides to make an appearance sometime soon…) and I decided to try a light yellow color for a change. I don’t usually wear yellow, so I thought I would try something new. I ordered this shirt online from Sheinside and when it arrived I wasn’t really sure what to pair it with. It was wrinkled but the iron did the trick :) Turns out the shirt is very versatile & goes with pretty much everything. I decided to create 5 different looks with some of the…
It’s April and it’s still snowing! Needless to say I was really happy when I received this military green parka from Sheinside to keep nice and warm. I dressed it down with a plaid shirt & jeans for a relaxed weekend look, but it would also look great with a dress – I’m thinking a white dress….(idea for another outfit, wink wink) I’ve been looking for a parka like this for a while – couldn’t decide whether I rather PU sleeves or a faux fur hood, but I decided to go with the faux fur & I’m happy with my…
There may be countless reasons why we leave one job in pursuit of another; career aspirations, passion, interest, re-location, etc. However, for the most part, salary is at the top of the list. Sure, you want to advance your career, but salary & advancement most often go hand in hand. Once you have found ‘the one’ & the interview process is finalized, HR or hiring manager will most likely ask you the magic question: what is your salary expectation? Now, let there be no confusion, if you are being asked this question, you most likely already got the job.…
I decided to combine a few recipes of spanakopita and replace feta by ricotta cheese (which is more rich in protein) and created this very simple & healthy snack. Here is what I used to make about 10 triangles: Boiled half a package of fresh spinach (about 150 grams) for 10 seconds Ricotta cheese (about 150 grams) 1 egg Salt & pepper Phyllo pastry – cut out each sheet in 3 strips & used double strips for each triangle Mixed spinach, ricotta, egg, salt & pepper together & stuffed each of the double strips & rolled them into triangles – Baked for 15…
It snowed again this weekend & this time I decided to embrace the storm! We went skiing to Bromont on Saturday & the conditions were just amazing – the snow was perfect & it wasn’t too cold – just an overall perfect Saturday :) At the same time, I am not giving up on the Spring fashions. It’s Monday and here is what I am wearing: a mint green jumper. I wore it with beige studded booties outside & switched to these gorgeous Jessica Simpson pumps at the office. I love a relaxed look with a heel – it’s comfortable,…
Yesterday was the 1st official day of Spring, but I think someone forgot to notify mother nature! I don’t know about you ladies, but the summer needs to be extra hot & sunny to make up for this. It’s been a cold & snowy winter & I am ready for it to be over ( I think I speak for all Montrealers when I say this). I wore this yellow blazer regardless of the weather to brighten up this gloomy day. Although, knowing that it’s Friday helps as well :) Happy Friday!!! Blazer/Jeans/T-shirt: Zara Bag/Watch: Michael Kors Shoes: Payless by…
The hottest beauty trend this Spring is an orange lip ladies! This color is vibrant & playful, fits right in with the warm temperature. Whether you like lipstick or lip-gloss, there is plenty of brands & textures to chose from.
