Stripes on stripes on stripes! My Paris Couture Week Outfit #3 was all about this Banana Republic stripe dress! The fit & flare dress is so figure flattering with the white band at the waist and the large shoulder straps. It simply hits all the SS19 trends: square neckline, midi length & of course the stripes! Inspired by Suminagashi – Japanese calligraphy, Yumi Katsura created a collection of gowns with straight lines & pleats that are truly feminine. A mixture of dark and vivid colors lit up the runway: black, purple, white & pink. Hi-lo skirts & minis, large collars, belted waists and fringe details were the key takeaways.
