FROM DAY TO NIGHT

A black pencil skirt is a classic piece every woman needs in her wardrobe. It’s great for work or a 5@7. The outfit I put together is definitely more fitting for a 5@7, but pull the skirt up closer to the crop top in order to hide some skin, throw on a blazer, and you can call it a Friday morning! Then head out for drinks (pulling the skirt back slightly downwards of course)! I tried on tons of black midi skirts but I just couldn’t find ‘the one’. So it goes without say that I was ecstatic to find…

ROAD TRIP DIARIES – PART 2

Washington, DC – how beautiful you are! Two short days in this city is definitely not enough! I fell in love with the sights, food, boutiques & the weather. It was so nice and warm during our stay, so I was able to sport these awesome floral shorts by Dex & this coral top from Zara. You won’t believe where I found these shorts: Aubainerie! My friend Silvia told me to check out this store a while back, but I never got around to it. She found many cute pieces by Vero Moda, Dex, etc. so I finally made time…

MINT ROMPER

Summer is ending but pastels are here to stay for Fall ladies :) This mint romper is perfect for a Friday night out in sandals for Summer or in tights and over the knee boots for fall. I got this romper at Dainty Hooligan during their flash sale & I love it! Mint green is one of my favourite colors; it looks gorgeous on everyone and I like how it makes my blue eyes pop. Since it’s starting to get chilly at night in Montreal, I paired this romper with my favourite faux leather Zara jacket, which you have already…

FROM RAIN TO SHINE

If you live in Montreal or ever visited this city, you know the weather can be crazy. It could start of as chilly in the morning, scorching hot in the afternoon, rainy in the evening and finish off chilly again at night. The dilemma of this weather is always the same: what to wear? Unpredictable weather calls for layering pieces so I decided to browse the Sheinside website for you ladies and come up with an outfit that will accommodate rain or shine. Distressed jeans are great as they will keep you warm in the chilling mornings and evening,…

ROAD TRIP DIARIES – PART 1

Getting lost, eating fast food, sightseeing, shopping, and drinking coffee (lots of coffee) is what road trips are all about! Last week, we headed on a little road trip to NYC, Washington DC & Atlantic City, all in 5 days. I’ve been to NYC more times than I can count and I still come back time and time again; simply love that city! We only spent half a day there on our way to Washington DC and it was certainly not enough. We only had time to hit up the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, a walk in Central Park &…

WEEKEND OUTFIT

Perfect weekend outfit! Last weekend I went on little road trip to NYC/Washington/AC (post & pics to come), and although it was really fun, it was also very exhausting, so this weekend I really want to take it easy. Comfort is my best friend – I always try to find pieces that are both stylish and comfortable. These converse sneakers meet those criteria! I snagged them during my online haul at Shopbop along with this stunning Clare V. leopard clutch & this Sincerely Jules tank top. The shoes fit true to size, maybe a quarter of a size bigger but I think…
