Mandy’s seriously changed my outlook on healthy eating. I used to have a love/hate relationship with salads – in the sense that I loved the fact that they were good for me, but I hated eating them. And then I understood something, all my salads were boring: lettuce, tomato & cucumber – WRONG! Then, Mandy’s came along and introduced me to a whole spectrum of ingredients and how well they can blend together! At their new Old Port location, I tried two gourmet half-salads: half Roma salad (Italian inspired ) & half Habibi salad (Lebanese inspired) – both absolutely delicious! The flavours & the ingredients made the salads so tasty and satisfying, that I wasn’t sure how I was going to tackle the next dish. But then, the MVP dish called Bowl of Seoul came along and O.M.G. this was hands down one of the best tasting dishes I have ever had – brown rice, quinoa, avocado, kimchi, tempura onions, fried egg & pan fried tofu – I swear, I’m drooling while I’m writing this post!!! The MVP dishes are only available at their Old Port location, but trust me it’s worth the trip. The location’s hip decor with palm leaves, flamingos, giant pink booth & beautiful accents will transport you to a tropical oasis. This location serves alcohol, cafes, desserts, as well as brunch & a little market filled with healthy treats! An absolute must – and I will surely be going back for that Bowl of Seoul very soon! Bon Appetite!
