M.Mme wine bar – the perfect place to un-WINE! ;) Wine lovers, this is a spot not to be missed – fully stocked wine cellar & delicious menu created around it! If you’re not afraid to try out new things, you will not be disappointed by the adventure the knowledgeable bar staff will take you on! Chloe & I had the opportunity to go on such a journey with Sebastien (barman), where we blindly let him recommend us wines that went with the food we chose – the result? A gastronomic experience like no other!
We started off with Torello Brut Reserva Cava – a wine from Spain, that is characterized by floral & fruit aromas revolving around apples, pears & melons. A delicious start for a foodie & a great pairing with dill pickle juice filled oysters! 
We then savoured The Domaine La Taille Aux Loups Clos Michet, a French dry, medium-bodied and fruity wine; absolutely perfect with the most delicious mushroom grilled cheese sandwich I have ever tried! We were told that this was one of the dishes that customers come back for the most and I perfectly understand why! Simply melts in your month! The only drawback? Not having more on the plate when its gone! lol
After the appetizers, we moved to the main course with Bezigon – a fruity wine which transforms into a copper color when it interacts with the air & tastes great with this delicious leak salad, topped off with crispy kale – yum! 
Then we tried the Fontavin Muscat de Beaumes de Venise, a wine from the Provence with fruity notes of abricot & rose. And of course, it complements the tasty foie gras crepes! 
Finally, we finished off with amazing deserts: “dix mille feuilles de poires et sucre, mousseline, sorbet et pulpe, pain de gênes au beurre noisette”(Chloe’s fave) & “gateau aux panais, crémeux au chocolat blanc et yogourt, granité aux pommes et mousse au fromage à la crème” (my favourite) and some sweet french Macvin!
Truth be told, I am more of a red wine drinker, however M.Mme made me discover a whole new world of white wine, each more delicious than the other!
