Working Chix are not just about the office, they’re also about the weekend, hanging out & running errands – no workwear required! On the weekends, I live in sneakers & if I could, I’d live in bombers too (loving this one from Aritzia), but its still too freezing out there and of course the piles of snow…. Not to mention that I get a lot more done in sneakers than I do in heels. If you ask me, heels are for the times you gotta sit down at your desk and sneakers are for running around to pick up groceries, hit the mall or go for brunch with your family or friends. Who’s with me on this? My mom laughed at me when she saw my little leather backpack: “you going to school”? Lol, she doesn’t get the trend, and it’s not only for teens, it’s for everyone. My best friend Meriem, who recently had a baby really inspired me to get one. She was looking for one herself b/c she said it’s not easy to carry everything with a baby – diaper bag, stroller, and her purse – things kept on falling out. She got this to put in her wallet and passport while she travels so she can free up her hands to carry the baby and all the luggage it comes with, lol – briliant! I don’t have kids, but I like my hands being free too :P plus, I love the style, & it pulled the outfit together – very urban chic!
