This turtleneck fell into my lap at the right time – right before V-Day! I also could not believe the price, it was on sale from $59 to $10!!! The red color is so rich and it just brightens the outfit especially when paired with neutrals. If you follow my blog, you probably read my post about mixing an matching and I usually recommend against being matchy-matchy. However, doing a bag in the same color as a sweater works as the pieces are broken down with the coat. So instead of being matchy-matchy, it simply works!

What are your plans for Valentine’s Day? I always liked Valentine’s day,  I know it’s cheesy, but I truly think that V-Day is not just for couples. It’s for spending time with your loved ones; family & friends. Every year, my bf & I go on a small trip for Valentine’s day weekend, it became our little tradition. But I also make time to spend with my mom & sister and get them small V-Day gift (so excited to give them their gifts this year – I prepared in advance, hehe). So regardless if its your bf or gf, husband or wife, child, friend, mother, father, sister, brother, or even a pet; it’s a day to spread love and happiness. We can all use more days like that!

    Absolutely adore this look. Am I bias? Without a doubt. A clean way to do colorblocking. Using such primary colors. I basically did the same exact look. I suppose great stylish minds think alike.
