FAUX FUR COAT

Investing in closet staples that will last you for years to come & that will never go out of style is key. However, when it comes to fashion pieces, it’s best to spend less as the item may quickly go out of style and you never know when it will come back! This is the story of this furry coat! I fell in love with it the 1st time I laid eyes on it at Zara. However, I was  not too happy about spending $200 on it knowing that faux fur is not always ‘in’ and I might not get that many wears out of it. But then the semi-annual, after Christmas sales rolled in and I was able to snagged it for $50! Yes ladies, a third of the price! :) Zara seriously has the best sales!!! The coat is simply stunning, soft & comfortable. And honestly, it goes with everything, mostly b/c of its amazing light beige color. Only downside? Can’t wear it outside for now – too cold! Weather in Montreal really needs to warm up a little bit, it’s been gravitating around -25C for weeks now and it’s really putting me in a terrible mood. Even though I have been born and raised in cold weather, I seriously believe deep down that I was not meant for it. Next year I pledge to break this cold routine by hitting the beach in a sunny destination, smack in the middle of winter. How you like me now icy air?!
