I cannot describe the feeling of finding the perfectly fitting denim! Shopping for denim is not easy and we always want the best of both worlds – we want our jeans to be stylish but comfortable, and of course fit just right! I found these jeans at Garage and it was like they were made for me and waiting patiently on the hangers for me to pick them up! But before I put my hands on those, I tried many many other pairs…Today, I share with you ladies how to find the perfect denim at Shopbop!
1- Curvy: If you have a small waist, but full hips & thighs, you fit into this category – (P.S. this is my category). The best fitting pair of jeans is the skinny dark wash like this Paige Denim Verdugo ultra skinny jeans. Also, remember to go for smal pockets!
2-Tall: if you are higher than 5’9, then you should go for a longer inseam skinny pants like these Citizens of Humanity high rise skinny jeans
3-Petite: if you are shorter than 5’4, then you fit into this category. Opposite to tall, you should go for short inseam skinnies that have clean elongating lines, like these Blank denim skinny jeans – on sale!
4-Boyish: If you have straight hips, go for skinnies with fading accents like these 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans – on sale! Go for larger pockets to enhance your behind!
5- Plus size: if you are size 14+ go for dark washes to play up your shape, like these Cheap Monday mid spray jeans. Balance out your figure to get that hourglass!
