I saw Nonie’s runway show in September (SP19) and I was blown away by the effortless, yet chic & sophisticated style (very Working Chix if I may say)! This FW19 Nonie collection followed the same idea with a few surprises! It was characterized by relaxed silhouettes & minimalist looks. The colours that dominated the runway were black, camel, with pops of burnt orange, as well as a surprise leopard print coat (love, love, love) & a floral jumpsuit. The fabrics looked luxurious, accentuating the craftsmanship of each piece. The attention to detail should not go unnoticed, with touches of lace, ties at the neck & draw strings.
If I had to guess who the inspiration was for this runway, I would have to say the professional working woman, and that is why I loved the show so much and I think you will too! Every look here could be worn to the office, although you may seem a bit rebellious with some of these pieces if you work in the corporate setting – but hey, you need to push that envelop a little bit every now and then. I used to work in a strict corporate environment before and I always tried to sneak in a fun jacket, a pop of colour or a cool print to spice things up! Nonie is definitely one of favourite designers!
