BUSINESS CASUAL

Business trips call for business casual attire. Well, unless you are travelling to meet clients, which might be a different story depending on your job. But, if you’re travelling for a conference, business casual is the way to go. The easiest way to pull it off is to wear a blazer – it gives you this look that means business but the rest of the outfit says comfort.

Last week, I flew to Orlando, Florida for a conference with my job and this is one of the outfits I wore. I gotta admit something, wearing heels to a conference is NOT a good idea. Be ready with a pair of extremely comfortable flats in your bag if you decide to dare heels. I was running around from one meeting room to another, and from one hotel to the other. God, this kind of mobility is draining on the entire body, so you can just imagine my feet! I had to run back to my room around lunch to change into flats! Other than that, the trip was great! The conference was smack in the middle of Disney World, yet I feel I have barely seen anything. They hide their parks among trees real good (if you’ve been there, you know what I’m talking about), but hey I guess that’s just part of the magic ;) The weather was amazing, and I think I deserve some credit for bringing it back with me to Montreal (lol).
