I’m a makeup addict. I don’t like the word hoarder, I prefer: makeup collector! Yes, I had to go to Ikea last week to get a drawer unit to store my makeup palettes, nail polishes, brushes and other treasures… I love to discover & try out new things and I never leave the house without makeup or a polished nail…and FormulaX is my best friend when it comes to nails! Honestly, this is the most long lasting & fast drying nail polish I have ever used! I usually apply two coats and let it dry for about 5 minutes before going to bed. The look is shiny without any top coat application (like, who has time for that? If you do, I’m so jealous), and they last a good 3 days before they start chipping (unless you’re scrubbing dishes all day) and even when they chip, it’s not bad at all!

January: Song of Style- Aimee Song: pastel pink, mint green & nude! I am wearing the pastel pink right now and I’m in love! I wore the nude last week, it went with everything!!! Each polish is opaque and I recommend 2 coats! (Sold out already…)
February: Beauty Vlogger Patrick Starrr: 3 gorgeous shades of pink!!! I only tried them, didn’t wear them yet but the colors are beautiful!!! Amazing for Summer! They are also nice and opaque – I recommend two coats. Still available at Sephora (HERE)! Retail: $16 each.
March: Lifestyle Blogger Emily Schuman of CupcakesandCashmere.com: Coral, nude & red! I haven’t worn the coral yet but it’s beautiful for Spring! The nude is simply amazing, I wore it two weeks ago and of course it went with everything! I have not worn the red one yet, but it’s a stunning shade, can’t wait to rock it next week! These are coming SOON – stay tuned!
New for Spring in terms of makeup: Météorites Voyage – compacted pearls of powder made easy for travelling! This luxurious formula, which contails 5 different colors of micro pearls, corrects and illuminates the complexion like no other powder out there! It’s simply amazing, the texture of this product leaves the skin mat, yet feeling soft and radiant. It has a nice light scent without being overpowering. Not to mention the gorgeous packaging & the fact that case is refillable! It’s a high end product priced at $200, but honestly worth every penny b/c of its quality and it’s very long lasting, you really need a swab of it on your powder brush to get the desired effect!
NYX Matte finish long lasting setting spray: This is the 1st setting spray I owe. I had it applied many times when I got my makeup done, but never got one and I’m not sure why b/c it’s awesome! This spray is very lightweight and basically feels like water when sprayed on the face, however, it definitely holds the makeup put for hours (unless you constantly touch your face – which is a habit I am trying hard to break)! Oh and NYX is now available at Pharmaprix! :) Retails for $10.
NYX high definition blush (color: soft spoken): For me, this doubles as a blush & a bronzer! It’s the perfect color balance between the two and it looks great. The blush has a very faint scent that is not overpowering & the texture is silky. And how adorable is the little bow packaging? Retails for $8.
Jouviance Rouge Magistral lipsticks: I have already talked to you about this lipstick in a post HERE and I stand by my review with these 3 colors as well! The Attraction, Tender & Unique are colors that every women needs in her makeup bag to change up b/w work and play! As I had already mentioned in my previous post, the colors are rich & opaque and the lipstick does not feel like lipstick at all! They feel like you are wearing a tinted lipbalm b/c they’re so hydrating! Retail for $20 each.
