Cold temperatures have made an unexpectedly early appearance in Montreeal and it’s time to get out the warmest scarf, or better yet – shop for one :) I already revealed my scarf obsession in previous posts, but this one is extra special as it’s a gift from my mom! She knows me so well… I love tartan print and burgundy is a hot color this Fall. Keeping it short and sweet in this post, but I am working on some interesting articles for you guys! Stay tuned! Kisses, WCX Outfit: Zara head to toe (Scarf, jeans, jacket, tee, bag, booties)…
It’s only natural to gravitate to dark pieces in fall, especially when the weather is so glum. But, regardless of the weather, the transition should be done smoothly and some summer pieces, such us the maxi dress can easily transition from summer to fall with a few tweaks. This post is meant to show you how to wear a maxi in Fall in 3 easy steps: 1- Footwear: Don’t be afraid to wear booties with a dress! They look great and will keep you warm. Boots could work too, but they cannot be chunky, otherwise the outfit might look sloppy.…
Summer is sadly coming to an end & so it that gorgeous summer tan! My skin color is naturally pearl white, but with heavy skin conditioning through trips to the South, it gained a little bit of color, yet still turns pale & pasty in the winter. I’m sure a lot of you ladies can relate to this, especially if you live in the rough Montreal weather. If you want to hold on to that summer glow into fall and winter, I have a solution! It’s only Wednesday but I am already dreaming of the weekend. Even hump day can be a good day to wear weekend clothes, don’t you think so? Throw on a plaid shirt with a pair of the comfiest shorts and converse sneakers & off you go to take care of errands. Lately I’ve been sporting cross-body bags a lot. So easy to carry around and my back is so thankful! This season is all about…
Distressed denim – how I love thee! This is probably my favourite trend & the more distressed the better. I got these jeans at Zara and I found them stunning, but the holes were all patched up – not distressed enough. Since they fit perfectly, I got them and made them even more ‘perfect’ by over ripping the slit on the right knee. Perfection! Distressed jeans go with anything. This time I paired them with this blush #fashion code tee. This tee fits into the winter pastel trend & it’s my favourite graphic. I bought it at the same time as…

A black pencil skirt is a classic piece every woman needs in her wardrobe. It’s great for work or a 5@7. The outfit I put together is definitely more fitting for a 5@7, but pull the skirt up closer to the crop top in order to hide some skin, throw on a blazer, and you can call it a Friday morning! Then head out for drinks (pulling the skirt back slightly downwards of course)! I tried on tons of black midi skirts but I just couldn’t find ‘the one’. So it goes without say that I was ecstatic to find…
