Dolce – a sweet event! It was my 2nd year organizing this beautiful event benefiting the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation and it brings joy to my heart to see it was another success! Over 300 young professionals gathered at the Loft Hotel to a Fun Fair themed party in order to support this amazing cause. All the benefits of the event will directly come in aid of children with craniofacial anomalies. There was food and sweets at every corner, a fully stocked open bar, fun fair games that captured everyones attention, amazing music by DJ Puppa Sacha & of course fabulous prizes…
Being a single mother is not easy, I know b/c I watched my mom work day and night to provide for my sister and me. She made sure we were fed, clothed, and had the best eduction. Yet, she made it look easy. She was though, independent, hard working & confident; all qualities that helped her propel forward and which she bestowed upon us. We both got educated, became independent, autonomous, & financially stable. She is my idol, my inspiration, a person I look up too & the reason the Lise Watier Foundation is important to me. It is my turn…
Hippie chic: the new look of Bal en Blanc. No more skimpy outfits, the event is going back to its artistic roots surrounding house music, urban art & fashion! In order to rise to the occasion, it’s time to update your wardrobe to attend this year’s event happening March 27th. Produkt, co-owners of New City Gas recently purchased the rights to the event and decided to re-position the image of the event. Being one of the major and oldest music festivals in Montreal, the idea is to bring it to a level comparable to Coachella or Burning Man Festival, which bring together people who share a…
Is it Spring yet? So we can’t complain too much about the winter we’ve been having, it hasn’t been so bad, but with all the Spring Collections hitting the stores, I can’t help but dream of warm weather! This CALIFORNIA MOONRISE romper screams fun in the sun! Although, given its grey and black hues, it can totally be pulled off with tights, a coat, boots or booties & a hat! I can’t get over the bell sleeves; it’s going to be a bohemian summer for me, that’s for sure :) I’m a bit obsessed! Hope you guys are having a…
Fedoras & floppy hats. I used to have a love-hate relationships with them; I loved them on others, I hated the thought of me wearing them, until…I tired one on! Often, we don’t even dare to try things and we think we don’t like them. Also, we often assume we know this when in fact… It’s like saying: this tastes like dirt! How can you possibly know that? Have you ever dried dirt? No, it’s simply absurd! If you haven’t tried, you cannot know! So, a few months ago, I ventured into buying my 1st floppy hat…and the obsession began! I…
Brunch is life. No, but seriously, I could eat brunch all day long! I think the reason why I always struggle with diets is that I was not really meant to be skinny, lol. Don’t get me wrong, I am always trying to eat healthy & exercise, but how can you resist a blueberry pancake?! Well, if you were looking for the trendiest place with heavenly food, stop…. b/c I found it: Soubois. I had the opportunity to try out their brunch menu last week and I must admit that I have developed a love affair with the 4 dishes featured…
Style is about simplicity. You don’t need to go overboard to look stylish, you just need to put together neutral pieces that fit & complement each other. It’s totally fine to match your hat with your coat, do it! Neutrals match everything, so naturally black will look good with white, beige will look good with grey and so on! Layering is key in minimalist looks, and of course it helps you stay warm during crazy cold temperature spikes! These pictures were taken by my friend Chloe Dumont (The Fashion Red Fox) this weekend when we exchanged photography services lol. Sometimes, photographers…
