THE CULOTTES - Working Chix

The infamous culottes – they have been daunting me all of last year! I tried on countless of them and finally gave up, thinking this trend was simply not for me. I have curvy hips and concluded that culottes were made for super thin women with straight hips; forever being envied by my eyes. It seems like I sent the universe a sign to make a pair just for me; oddly enough it listened. I found these khaki culottes at Dynamite and decided to give them one final chance before abandoning the thought of them in the dust forever. As soon as I slipped into these, I knew they were meant for me (can you picture a “Hallelujah” scene of angels floating down the sky? Pretty much sums up my feeling)! They were utter perfection: the fit, the fabric, the feel – the full package! I could not stop looking into the mirror in disbelief and when the sales associated asked me what I thought; I said, well to be honest I think someone made these pants just for me and I don’t want to take them off! One thing is for sure, I will be getting them in all colors (they have black and denim available) and I need to hunt them down! I styled them here with a white mock neck crop top (which I bought in ever color as well, lol). I will be living in these all.summer.long!
