COBALT PUMPS MEET PLAID

Today’s look is all about these gorgeous cobalt pumps! I’ve been eyeing Jessica Simpson cobalt pumps at the end of Summer & was about to buy them for $150 when I found practically the same ones at Forever 21 for a fraction of the price – $34.90! Needless to say I was ecstatic! As a general rule, quality shoes are worth investing in when you know you will use them for a long time. Materials will determine the useful life of the shoes as well as the fit & comfort. However, when you want a splash of color for fashion’s sake, the lower quality shoes are a good option, given of course that they are comfortable enough. I matched them here with PU leather trousers & a plaid shirt. I think I have already mentioned in my accessories post that matching accesorry colors to outfit it not a good idea, however picking one color in the outfit to make it stand out or picking a color in the same palette but in a different shade can bring life to the outfit! This is what I tried to achieve while putting together this outfit. What do you guys think?
