WATCH OUT, HOLIDAY FOOD!

Holidays are fast approaching & soon we will be attending countless dinner parties & eating tons of food. This means lots of calories & little time for the gym in between. Here are three easy tips to follow in order to avoid extra weight gain during the holidays without depriving myself.

1- Pre-holidays: There are still 2 weeks left before Christmas and it’s the perfect time to hit the gym as often as possible & instead of reaching for that greasy burger, opt for a healthy salad:

2-During the holidays eating habits: The day you will be having a dinner party, have a very light breakfast & lunch full of protein & greens to save calories, carbs & sugar for your evening meal. While having dinner, skip the bread & butter and wait for the main course. Finally, go for smaller portions, this way you can try everything without over eating.

3-Share: If there are many desert options – share with someone half-half :) But don’t hold yourself back, you need a cheat day from time to time, as long as it’s not everyday for a week straight!
