This year for Christmas we went to visit my family in New Jersey and my cousin brought me to an amazing grocery store called Trader Joe’s for a little snack tasting. This place is known for its organic foods that are hard to come by. I wanted to try everything, but I settled for the following:
Crackers & Cheese – The crackers were really good, I would give them a 8 out of 10 & they’re really healthy. They contain prebiotic fiber to help support the digestive track. As for the cheese, I give it 10/10. It had chili & red bell peppers and it was delicious. I love cheese, so this one was one of my favorites :)
Almond Butter – One word: YUMMY! Not only is it delicious but it’s good for you too. With 7g of protein per serving & the only ingredient being almonds, I’m going to be having this on toast for breakfast everyday. I would give this one 11/10 :)
Apple Juice – I was excited about this one b/c I like apple juice & it said it has 40% less sugar & calories. I was a bit disappointed with the flavor. It tastes a little bit minty, but I don’t really like it too much. I would give this 4/10.
Pistachio cookies – Amazing, 11/10! These pistachio cookies have some white & milk chocolate and they’re simply divine! I already ate half of the box and it’s only been a few days. I really regret not getting two boxes. But I hear there is a Trader Joe’s coming soon to Burlington and it’s not far from Montreal, so I will be making a trip there as soon as it opens and the pistachio cookies will be the 1st thing in my basket (plus the butter)!
Power crunch – I have yet to find a really good tasting power bar. This one is not bad, but extremely sweet, even though it only has 5g of sugar. I don’t really like it taste wise, so I would rate this at 5/10. It’s better than most power bars I tried, but it’s not my favorite. It does however have 14g of protein, so it’s quite nutritious.
Overall, I love this store! Can’t wait for the Burlington opening to go visit it again! Thanks Kat for taking me there! If you ladies get a chance, make a pit stop at Trader Joe’s, you won’t be disappointed.
