If you’re looking for a cool spot for sushi, be sure to make a stop at Mikasa. The restaurant has 6 different locations across Montreal & Laval, refer to the following website to find the one that suits you best: http://mikasasushibar.ca/ I’ve been to the one in Laval & the one on Acadie – the atmosphere is great; awesome for a date, as the lights are dim & the setting is romantic. If you’re a group, they also have private rooms. As far as food goes, it’s delicious, but it’s quite expensive. I tried various types of sushi & sashimi & everything tasted great. I have also tried some appetizers. The seafood ceviche was excellent, but I am not 100% sure it was worth $18. The dessert was my favorite part. I don’t know if you have ever tried fried vanilla ice cream, but this one is by far the best. Here is what it looks like:
