Honestly, I’m a true believer that the dirtier the kitchen, the better the meal! Not everyone at home might agree, but that’s my mantra :)
I found a simple recipe online on how to prepare chicken broccoli pasta, and the reason for that is that I had chicken, broccoli & pasta in my fridge/cupboard, no joke. The best way to save money and best utilize groceries is to look in the fridge and see what’s in there and then research how you can make a meal out of it. So, I took the recipe and substituted various ingredients with what I had.
Here is the original recipe:

And here is what I actually used: One chicken breast- seasoned with salt & pepper, grilled and chopped; 250g penne pasta – boiled; one large broccoli – boiled and chopped; 250g mushrooms – sliced; 4 slices of sun dried tomatoes soaked in oil & half of a light Philadelphia cheese package stir fried for 3 minutes max. Mix it all, top it with shredded cheese and put in the oven at 350°C for 15 minutes and VOILA!
Result: DELICIOUSNESS!
