When I started workingchix.com, I have just quit my job as an auditor to pursue a career in fashion. I went from a formal setting into an informal work environment. Being in the midst of the action, I follow all the trends I love. As such, I’ve been posting a lot of fashion looks. However, I realized that every woman wants to look stylish, whether it be at a 5@7 or the office, and a lot of the looks I post may not always be office appropriate. As such, I decided that from time to time, I’ll post some formal office attire that is stylish, sophisticated and fashionable. This pastel yellow skirt is perfect for work. As I have already mentioned before, pastels are big this summer and this pencil skirt follows the trend and yet it’s perfect for the office. I have paired it with a white button down blouse & navy heels. On hot days, a white or navy t-shirt would look great as well.
