WCX X PETIT LAPIN X CANDYLABS X BALLONBAR

The shoot I’ve been waiting for!!! Ever since I saw Carrie in the Sex & the City, sporting a tutu skirt in NYC, I knew I had to own one, even though I had no idea where I would wear it lol! As soon as I started my blog, I bought this beautiful pink tutu by Lauren Conrad from Kohl’s and it’s been sitting in my closet for months! I saw many bloggers do fun photoshoots with a tutu, but I wanted mine to be special & unique.

Finally, I met Viviane Nguyen, the owner of Petit Lapin – a  bakery that prides itself at desserts that are gluten free, lactose free and free of the ten major food allergens (peanuts, nuts, sesame seeds, milk, eggs, seafood, soy, sulphites (a food additive), mustard & wheat). Having a friend who is severely allergic to nuts, I know 1st hand how hard it is to get allergen free desserts! After hearing her story, trying her delicious doughnuts & seeing the beautiful white & Tiffany colored bakery, I knew it was a match made in heaven and my vision came to life! Vivi is a notary turned baker, which I can relate to being an Chartered Accountant turned fashion blogger ;) – we both still work in our respective fields but also have a second career; we’re Working Chix! After learning that her son was born with many allergies & not being able to find a cake for his birthday, she decided to take matters in her own hands & bake a cake herself – Petit Lapin was born!

We decided to join forces and collaborate on a shoot together with RebsMedia & two other business: Candy Lab & Baloon Bar.
