This Summer, as the world begins to breathe life again, we’re going places! We might not yet be ready for any major travel adventures, but we can finally meet up with family & friends for a picnic in the park, a BBQ in the backyard, an Intimate Wedding, a dinner date with our significant other, or a pool party, and girllll, we’ll need something to wear ;) I round up below my favorites from Revolve for every occasion!
Picnic in the park: One of my fave summer activities is a picnic in the park with friends. Pack a lunch, drinks, snacks, a blanket & your picnic basket, slip into your fave outfit – I’m wearing the Revolve x Sofia Richie Yasmina Maxi Dress & enjoy a fun activity in nature. Who says you can’t combine glam with nature?! This past weekend, I did a picnic with friends in the Casa Loma park. It’s a tiny park but incredibly beautiful with a stunning views of the Casa Loma stables. The trees provide shade for the most perfect oasis on a hot summer day and they also have a couple of picnic tables if you prefer that to sitting on a blanket. Here is how you can complete your picnic look:
Intimate Wedding: This year, weddings will likely take the form of intimate affairs, but you can still dress up! This year, florals, neutrals, pastels and pops of color are all on trend, so sky’s the limit when it comes to choosing your wedding guest attire. Here is a round up of some of my favorite dresses from Revolve – all of these can be re-worn for multiple other occasions, so it’s money well spent!
Backyard BBQ: There is nothing more fun & easy than a backyard BBQ with friends. An easy romper, a cute pair of sandals, sunnies & some accessories and you’re out the door! I love an informal BBQ where you get to eat delicious food, drink a couple of beers or cocktails and unwind with friends.
Pool Party: Typically, a BBQ at my friends’ house is followed by a pool party! What’s great with a denim romper is that you can easily wear a bikini right underneath and be ready to take a dip in the pool. A two-piece swimsuit, a pair of sunnies, a bag & some accessories to put it all together is all you need to complete your pool party look!
Date Night: With restaurants finally re-opening, it’s time to plan those date night outfits! You can’t go wrong with a pair of denim, a romantic floral blouse, a pair of heels and some gold jewelry to complete the outfit.
