PARIS COUTURE WEEK OUTFIT 1

Paris, je t’aime. There are a handful of cities in the world that I would visit over and over again and Paris is at the top of the list! I’ve been to Paris 5 times now and every time I go, I fall in love with this city more and more. I cannot pinpoint one single reason why I love this city so much, it’s a combination of everything: the effortlessly chic fashion & the amazing shopping, the food (cheese, fois gras & bread are my weaknesses), the stunning architecture at every single corner, the noise of the city…I just love it all! I think the fact that I’m fluent in French also adds to the experience, as I don’t feel foreign when I’m there, even though every single person starts the conversation in English but quickly turns to French when I answer back a firm “Bonjour” ;) I am in love with the wine and the history and everything in between and although I’m not a huge believer in reincarnation, I think I might have been French in my past life, haha.

It’s always been a dream of mine to be invited to Paris Fashion Week, but when I got invited to Paris Couture Week, I seriously needed someone to pinch me & make sure I was not dreaming! I finally ticked off another item off my bucket list and I hope to come back many times over! It was an unforgettable experience.

*Sponsored* For my Paris Couture Week outfit 1, I wore this stunning Le Chateau mango coloured jumpsuit. I blended in perfectly with the Parisian ladies in this effortlessly chic ensemble. This jumpsuit is extremely figure flattering with the belt at the waist and the pop of colour is perfect for summer. Yellow being a huge trend this season, this jumpsuit will be a staple in my wardrobe.

To complement the mango colour, I paired the outfit with these Le Chateau sienna coloured criss-cross platforms. The height of the sandals makes the jumpsuit even more flattering and makes the colour pop even more.

Even though these are high, they are still very comfortable, and truth be told I’m not too good with walking in high heels but I was just fine heading to the show with these! I switched to sneakers in between shows just to get there faster but otherwise I think I could have lasted in them all day!

Finally, for accessories, I went with two big trends this season: Straw Bag & Tortoise Earrings, both from Le Chateau. I’m a big fan of both trends so it was a no brainer to go with these two pieces to complement my Paris Couture Week outfit! The straw bag can also be worn cross-body, which makes it easier to stroll around the city. The tortoise earrings pick up the mango colour, pulling the entire outfit together so nicely.

Hope you guys love the outfit as much as I do, and with the Eiffel Tour as the backdrop, it’s picture perfect! ;)

Stay tuned for a full review of the shows I attended & outfits I wore!
