IMG_3664 2What I love most about being a blogger is the opportunity to meet amazing people, one being Sarra Ghribi, the founder of Loue1robe. This talented woman started Loue1robe over two years ago, allowing Montreal women to look amazing without splurging on a dress that will just gather dust in the closet after only one wear! I visited her store and asked her to pull out 3 dresses for me for 3 different occasions – a wedding, a prom & a casual 5@7. Without taking any measurements, she knew exactly what size would fit me at 1st glance and also what colors, shapes and fabrics would compliment my body, skin tone, as well as hair & eye color – needless to say, I was impressed. She prides herself at “making women feel beautiful” – this is what brings her joy and why she has begun this business in the 1st place. I can attest to the fact that she made me feel like a million dollars with all 3 dresses! There are literally hundreds of dresses in her showroom and she keeps on re-stocking with new ones! Every one is unique and beautiful – there is something there for everyone no matter the occasion!

Look 1: She picked this stunning cobalt cocktail dress for a wedding. It made my blue eyes pop! Not to mention how small my waist looked in it – wow! “La Valentina” – retails in store for $300 – rental: $80 including taxes and dry cleaning.

Look 2: She picked this beige embroidered stunner for an occasion such as prom. I must say, at 1st glance, I did not think I could pull off this color, given my fair complexion, but when I put it on, I was pleasantly surprised that it actually complemented my skin tone! Not to mention I look like Cinderella in it ;) “San Remo” – retails in store for $1,200 – rental: $250 including taxes and dry cleaning

Look 3: Lastly, she picked something for me that I could wear to a 5@7. It looked adorable on me! The dress could be dressed up for office with a blazer and then dressed down for a 5@7. It has an amazing open back and it sparkles just enough for a fun evening out! “Zara” – retails in store for $100 – rental: $35 including taxes and dry cleaning.

    These outfits are gorgeous, but I especially love that first outfit! Blue is such a gorgeous color on you :)
