As soon as I saw this sweatshirt, I fell in love with the print! It’s a sweatshirt, but it’s so versatile! The other day, I tucked it in my pencil skirt and wore it to work for a more professional look. Here I paired it with white jeans for a more relaxed look. As you have seen through my previous posts, I am obsessed with this Rebecca Minkoff bag & these Sam Edelman pumps! So classic, they go with absolutely everything!

I’m gonna fill you guys in on two little ‘funny’ secrets. The 1st one being that I hate weighing myself. In fact, I think scales should be banned for life. Instead, I use these white pants (oh and a pair of denim shorts) to assess my ‘summer body’ progress (lol).  Why? Well, it’s quite simple! When you workout, even if you eat right, the scale will always give you a number you will not like and it will only discourage you from eating healthy & exercising. We often forget that when we workout, we create muscle mass that has weight associated to it. So, although we don’t see any progress on the scale, it’s definitely there – your body is toning. And the best way to see this is by trying on last summer’s clothes! If they are lose (or even if they just fit lol) then you know the scale is a liar :P So, needless to say I was ecstatic when I tried these pants on and the fit was perfect! So, ditch the scale girls and find your way of gauging whether your body is happy :) I vote for the white pants weight estimator!

Now, as for the 2nd secret, I was hesitant about sharing it at first but my friends had a riot with it, so I said MEH, why not! So, I wore these white pants to work the other day for the 1st time since last summer and they just got a serious beating. First, I dirtied them with mascara, washed them, good as new. Then, while sipping my coffee, little did I know that my travel mug was not properly closed and I spilled the coffee literally all over my top and ALL over my pants, 5 mins before a meeting. I had to wash them fasttt in the bathroom and go to the meeting with, yes, wet pants. Finally, I thought the nightmare was over, but NOO far from it! I had to have that juicy orange and spill that on top of my pants too. I’m happy to announce that my pants are safe & sound after a good wash right when I got back home from work. But, here is the lesson I learnt. When shit happens, laugh about it with our friends and move on! ;) Hope that made you smile!

    So funny and so lucky those pants sound like they clean super easily. We’re totally with you on the scale though. We always let our clothes tell us where we stand :)

    Oooh! I love this!! Such a feminine top, but amped up with some edginess with the colors and that moto jacket. I also like the zipper detail on those jeans. Awesome look!
