2-Fill out your measurements :height, weight, etc

Step 1: Download the free app on your cellphone & if you feel unsafe, open up the app & click Start:
IMG_0275Step 2: The app will ask you for how long you want to be watched for – you input the time frame (I entered 5 mins in the example below) and the app will track your location. You can share pictures & add notes if you like.

Step 3: When the time elapses, the app will ask you: Are you safe? If you do not tap in safe, the app will automatically alert your loved ones, the ones you have listed in your contacts – your safety network. IMG_0276 IMG_0282If you have safely arrived to your destination before the time is up, just tap in I’m safe, just to be sure your loved ones are not alerted and panic for no reason!

Another awesome feature of this app is ‘Safer Streets’ – although this has only been launched in Chicago for now. This feature basically locates you & tells you about the safety rating of the area you are in. It does so by integrating official crime data, social data, etc. Once this feature becomes available, I think everyone must have it. Imagine travelling to a new city or country where you never been  before and not knowing whether you can safely roam the streets! This app will let you know which streets to avoid – basically your guardian angel!

In addition, you can upgrade your free app to a premium for only $4.99 / year – peanuts! This upgrade permits you to send out emergency alerts regardless of your safety network’s internet connection, even if they are offline. Even if you’re overseas, you don’t pay for the roaming charges! Watch Over Me is generous enough to upgrade the app to 2 lucky ladies!
