ENGAGEMENT DINNER PARTY

This past Saturday, our families & closest friends gathered at the Steak Frite restaurant to celebrate our love! I am overjoyed to share these pictures with you guys! It was an intimate engagement dinner party – the food was delicious, wine was flowing all evening and smiles were beaming all around – I could not have expected a better turnout :) A lot of you guys have already asked me about the decorations since I posted a pictures on Instagram! Believe it or not, all the helium balloons came from Party Experts. The theme was gold and black with a touch of rustic flare, which fit perfectly with the look of the restaurant. Even though the party was simple enough, I spent days preparing it to make sure all the details were just right – it’s the perfectionist in me. I’m not very crafty but I decided to conquer a Pinterest project by creating my own party favors: mason jars filled with Chicago mix popcorn. I think I nailed it ;) surprisingly, lol.

As for the dress, as soon as I laid eyes on it, I knew it was perfect! I absolutely love how original it is with the cutouts & the mesh bottom over the short skirt! I adore this dress and got tons of compliments on it! I paired it with these beauties from Joie & this awesome lemon clutch!!! This season is all about fruit – pineapples, watermelon, lemon….let’s just say the lemon clutch was the star of the evening, not us :P lol As for Isamel, he wore Zara from head to ankle :P and pretty much put the outfit together 5 minutes before we left the house, no joke, lol!!! Navy blue paisley print blouse & beige pants are perfect for hot summer nights out.

Can’t wait for the wedding now! lol, I’ve been in planning mode since last weekend, hehe!

    Beautiful photos. I love that dress. Its great for your figure. Holds you in, in all the right places but doesn’t hide all your curves. Not to mention, who doesn’t like crisp white. Also, you’re the spitting image of your mother. Looks like you had a fabulous time. Congrats!!!!
