Yeah it’s a line straight out of a Katy Perry song, but it couldn’t be more fitting! In a single day in Montreal, you can be freezing and just a couple of hours later you could be sweating! One day there are no leafs on trees, and the next everything is green. Honestly, total chaos and its so hard to plan out what to wear too. So, I decided to do a quick post about what to wear on a day when they predict cold temperatures in the morning, heat in the afternoon and rain in the evening! Your best bet is to get aquatinted with layers! They are easy to pile up when it’s cold & to remove when its warm. For example, wearing a light floral top & a faux leather jacket should do the trick! Wear the jacket in the morning and take it off in the afternoon. If it’s still too cold, slip in a small cardigan under the jacket! A midi skirt works great too, as you could wear stockings when the weather is chilly & then remove them when that temperature changes. Finally, for rainy days, booties are best! They work with a skirt as well as pants, and they can be worn with stockings or small socks that end at the ankle. And of course, always carry around an umbrella – I have a big one in my car & at my office and a mini tucked into my purse – always ready for a rainy day in unpredictable Montreal ;)
