Have you ever dreamt of working abroad in a big city such as New York, Barcelona, London or Paris? I always wanted to do it but the opportunity never presented itself! Yet, it’s still on my bucket list, so I decided to use my Honeymoon in Europe as a pretext to imagine how I’d spend my day if I was a business woman working at the Canadian Embassy near Champs-Élysées in Paris – my 1st Honeymoon stop!
What I would do: I’d take my lunch break to stroll down Champs-Élysées, grab a coffee on a terrasse or check out the latest collection of Louis Vuitton bags ;) The metro system in Paris is really well developed & fast, so I could easily grab a quick bite at a cafe near the Eiffel Tower or a quick stop at the Louvre (for which I would have a monthly membership b/c the museum is huge and it would take me a lot of lunch breaks to see it all, haha), or bring my lunch to the Jardins de Tuileries, taking in all of its beauty.
What I would wear: Paris is a fashion capital and Parisian women are well known for their chic, effortless attire. And nobody does macaroons like Laduree – I would totally stop by with my girls after work for a coffee & a salted caramel macaroon – yum! I must admit, they make macaroons like it’s nobody’s business. It’s no wonder Ladurée is world renowned!
