It’s not easy to just snap into the ‘new you’ once the clock rings in midnight! It’s a nice thought, but it’s easier said than done. It’s been 10 days after the New Year and I did not start eating well or exercising regularly…yet! Today marks the 1st day of that resolution, and it’s ok that it’s about 2 weeks late. There are two great motivators to help you begin: 1 – not fitting into some of your clothes (guilty) & 2- brand new workout clothes! So, having trouble zipping up my favorite jeans reinforced this resolution. Equipped in all the right gear, I am ready to begin! A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of the new Sports Experts store in Laval! A new store concept, focused on technologies, innovations and the biggest sport brands. PK Subban was the guest of honour who inaugurated the grand opening. We then had a chance to discover the store & shop. My favorite part of the store is the numerical shoe wall; place a shoe of your choice in front of the screen, and it will tell you all you need to know about the shoe! Its usage, its composition, what colors in comes in, etc! Needless to say, I left with these fab turquoise Nike running shoes I am wearing in the pictures above. Finally, a few weeks ago, I attended the grand reveal of Lolë’s SS16 collection: urban oasis. Imagined by the director of design, Andy Thê-Anh, this new collection is all about prints, updated safari styling, as well as rich & saturated colors inspired by the amazon forest. Color blocking, layers, mixing & matching, hybrid workout wear, softness & multipurpose wear are on the menu! Check it out below! And of course, I ended up getting the amazing Lole bag featured in the pictures above. It’s trendy, spacious and has multiple compartments – love!
