So, my hair is straight naturally. I’m not going to complain b/c it’s very easy to maintain: I wash it, dry it in 5 & I’m out the door! But, it’s also very thin & dry so it usually needs a bit of TLC to get some volume & moisture. Not to mention that given its thinness, it gets greasy fast so I wash it often (which is a vicious circle). Although, I am trying to break this habit and wash it every other day…we’ll see if I succeed. So far, I’ve been doing so-so, lol. Anyways, I welcome new hair products all the time to try out and lately I discovered the Nioxin 3-part system. Based on the consultation tool , System 4 was the right kit for me: thinning dry hair, color treated- it promised to deliver denser-looking hair & moisture balance, so naturally I was all over it (lol)! You are supposed to use it for 30 days to see a difference, but only after 1 wash my hair was already fuller! The kit is comprised of a cleanser, scalp revitaliser & scalp treatment. The 1st thing I noticed with this kit is that the revitaliser bottle was substantially smaller than the shampoo – FINALLY someone understood the struggle lol! You use up the entire shampoo and there is like half the bottle of conditioner left! The products smell like mint & they simply work – a small amount of the product goes a long way, you really don’t need much so it lasts you longer!

And of course, once the hair is clean, you need to style it! I tried out Nioxin’s 3D Light & Flexible styling products ! While your hair is damp, apply the rejuvenating elixir & definition cream by taking a tiny bit of each product in the palm of your hand and rubbing it in your hair. Then, after you blow dry it, use the hair spray to set it all in! Honestly, the cream & elixir reduce frizz & leaves the hair super smooth, and the hair spray is the most gentle & non sticky one I ever tried! I honestly usually hate hair stray b/c it hardens the hair, which is unpleasant to the touch! This one leave the hair smooth, almost as if you never sprayed it in the 1st place, yet it keeps it all locked in one place. Love these products!
