JOUVIANCE HOLIDAY MAKEUP

It’s a rare occasion that I leave the house without makeup. Some may call me high maintenance, but I call it a self confidence booster! There is nothing better than nice clothes and good makeup to make a women feel like she can conquer the world! And the holidays are no exception, in fact, this is the time to go bold. I love a red lip for the holidays and no night time look is complete without a smokey eye. This holiday season, it’s my 1st time trying out the Jouviance brand. What I love about the company is that the products are parabens & sulphates free & they are not tested on animals! The products are great quality & very affordable! Here is a brief review of the products:
Hydra-Colour Quatuor (color: Black Star): This eyeshadow palette is extremely soft, almost powder like, so it’s very easy to apply & blend. It holds the entire day with no touch ups required at all! I LOVE the color combination; a vanilla shade as a base and highlighting, a beige shadow for the lid, a grey shimmery shadow for the crease and a black eyeshadow for corner of the eye definition! It’s compact, so perfect for carrying around, and it comes in a chic white case with a mirror. Love this so much, I am wearing it today to my work Christmas party, alongside all the other elements shown in the picture above – they just all go perfectly together :) Retails for $34.

Eye pencil in color Black Diamond: No eye is complete without the perfect pencil. To be honest, I often use a black eye shadow and an angle brush to do the line b/c I could never find a pencil that was smooth enough for me to apply effortlessly. My eyes are extremely sensitive so I’m carful with what I use in terms of eye makeup. But this pencil, just wow. It has a velvet like texture that glides on the eye without even trying. It creates a precise line that is surprisingly thin & graceful. But of course, you can also make it thick depending on your style. Some of my close ones will be getting this for the holidays for sure! Retails for $19.Rouge Magistral lipstick in shade Opera A Sydney: This red lipstick has a rich opaque color & does not feel like lipstick at all! Feels like you are wearing a tinted lipbalm b/c it’s so hydrating! Given its texture, it’s not long lasting but I’ll take hydration over dry lips any day! It’s honestly the perfect shade of red!!! I really like the slick silver packaging too! Retails for $20.

Mascara 3D Designer: So this mascara is pretty awesome – it gives both length as well as volume! It comes in this sophisticated looking black tube. I like straight mascara brushes more than the funky ones b/c it’s much easier to apply & it doesn’t clump. Retails for $22.
