I’m back from Toronto! WMCFW week was both amazing and exhausting, but more on that next week :) Today, I want to share my 1st impressions of this beauty routine from Bioderma. I received these products two weeks ago and have been using them religiously since then. I have normal skin, but whenever I can, I opt for sensitive skin products as they tend to be more gentle. This line is for sensitive skin :)
Bioderma Sensibio H2O make-up removing solution: Don’t let the clear water-like look fool you, this product is amazing for removing makeup. It’s odorless, gentle on the eyes, no oil residue & it’s Paraben free. I apply it to a cotton pad and press it against my eye for a few seconds and the eye shadow & mascara come off entirely! I must admit that I do have a nasty habit of rubbing my eyes to hurry the process, but I try to do it less and less b/c it’s bad for the eyes. Not only does it remove makeup, but it also cleans the face, which is great for those nights you come home and you’re so exhausted all you want to do it pass out on the couch (which happens to be almost every night I have an event, lol). So, the easier the skincare routine at night, the better – that’s how I see it anyway! I don’t wear waterproof makeup, but I heard that it gets it off as well. Overall, it’s a great product! Bioderma Sensibio 3 in 1 cleansing milk: It’s a 3 in 1, but I don’t use this as an eye makeup remover, instead I use it to remove my face makeup & as a cleanser following the Sensibio H2O remover. It has a milky, almost water like consistency & it feels nice on the skin. I apply it as a regular cleanser & wash it off with water. It leaves the skin soft & hydrated, which is the key of youthful looking skin if you ask me & it’s unscented! I think this product will be great for winter, b/c even though I have pretty normal skin, it does get quite dry in winter. Will continue using this product for sure! Bioderma Sensibio Light soothing cream: I apply this after washing my face with the cleanser. It’s great as a night or day cream, although, I think I will opt for a serum for night as I get older and keep this one as a day cream. It’s unscented as the other 2 mentioned above and I think that’s great, especially for people who don’t like perfume or who are allergic to it. Provides amazing hydration, it has a smooth texture, it’s light & it leaves my skin is soooo smooth, love it. A little goes a long way with this product – you need just a small amount of it to cover the skin and neck – great value! Based on other reviews I read about this product, a lot of people with acne prone skin love this product as well. If you have this type of skin, I would love to hear your thoughts about it via a comment below :) Bioderma Sensivio Tolerance + cream: I used this cream alternating with the sensibio light and it has shown the same results for me. I honestly don’t see a big difference between the two, but someone with very sensitive skin might! For me, both of these creams are great!
Overall, I highly recommend this beauty routine & I will continue using it! Thank you Bioderma & Cabinet PR for introducing me to this line!
