Black & white – is there a more classic & timeless look? This is another outfit from my collaboration with Matinique In Wear! These pieces are from the Fall 2015 collection, however I think they work very well for summer too! Vests are all the rage this year – they add an extra touch, a sort of edginess & class to an outfit. It’s only when I started blogging that I truly began to appreciate them & understand that they are a statement piece, but one that is also a classic! I like them a bit longer, this way they can be worn as a vest or as a dress with a belt around it. I paired it here with faux leather leggings; I am absolutely obsessed with this type of pants, they are so trendy & they polish off any look. Finally, anything perforated is in right now and this blouse will serve as the perfect transition from summer to fall. I know we don’t want to think about that right now in the middle of summer, but when you’re investing in quality pieces, you want to make sure that you’ll be able to wear them year round and that they won’t go out of style – case in point: black & white!
