RED & BLACK

Happy Friday ladies!!! What are you wearing to go out tonight? Why not give a new life to an old garment you love? When looking through your closet today, pick up a piece that you really like but barely ever wear & create an outfit starting with that item. This is what I did with my outfit – I have these red pants that I like a lot, but I don’t really wear them, so I decided to revive them. I paired them with a simple black t-shirt and a motto jacket. With heels and a clutch, I’m ready for a dinner and drinks! Maybe…

NOTHING TO WEAR

“I have nothing to wear” – Have you ever looked at a closet full of clothes and said this to yourselves ladies? Well, it certainly happens to me sometimes, I won’t lie, and today was that day. Since it was not the 1st occurence, I have decided to build some rules on how to remedy a lack of inspiration. I decided to share 5 simple tricks with you in order to help you pick an outfit when you have “nothing” to wear. They certainly helped me this morning and I was satisfied with what I picked – blue plaid & PU leather skirt! 1- Scan your…

TIGER & BOTTIES

European bloggers were all wearing tigers last year, and I really wanted a top like this, but couldn’t find it at any store in Montreal and it wasn’t yet a trend here. This year, the stores are overflowing with tiger sweaters & t-shirts. This tiger sweatshirt is cozy and can be dressed up when paired with a PU skirt or dressed down with jeans. Booties are hot this season and very comfortable. I have multiple booties in various hues, but that’s b/c they were a bargain or gifts for my b-day. If you own one black and one beige, you’re good to pair them with any outfit! Have a…

COLD WEATHER

Red, orange and yellow leafs have taken over Montreal. Fall is here & it’s time to bundle up! Wool is great for fall, especially when it starts getting really cool and a leather jacket just won’t do. This season, all colors have the green light, so if you like pop of colors, it’s definitely choice galore! However, the only thing is wool coats are usually pricey; therefore you’re better off choosing a neutral color that can easily translate from one year to another. That’s why I chose this belted heather grey coat from Zara last fall. I love the color…

LEOPARD PRINT

Animal print – from tigers, to leopard to snake skin prints – hot, hot, hot! Pair a leopard shirt with black pants, a leather jacket & a pair of heels and you are ready for drinks girls. The emerald earrings add a pop of color to pull the outfit together. This Zara shirt is also very versatile; it could be worn with pants as well as a skirt. Also, as you can see I paired this with a leather jacket I have already shown you before. The key to a perfect wardrobe is buying pieces that you can mix &…

LBD

Indeed, every woman needs a Little Black Dress! In this post, I have decided to show you a conservative, office appropriate dress. It’s simple, long-sleeved and belted for a waist definition. What’s great about this dress is that it can be worn in cold weather and as we all know, Montreal is famous for its infamous winters – just add stockings.  Although I have paired it with cage sandals, you can wear it with booties or boots as well. Throwing on a classic trench gives it a polished look. I strongly believe that every career woman should have a trench coat. Especially if you work…

COBALT

One of fall’s trendiest colors is cobalt, and it’s one of my favorite colors. I think it looks good on any skin tone & it just simply screams “chic”! I love this cobalt bandage dress. I bought it last year during the summer, since cobalt was big in that season too. This is a great example of a garment that is timeless & that you can re-wear multiple times. Cobalt blouses and pants also look amazing, so pick whichever strikes your fancy ladies :) Dress – Dynamite Sandals – Lulu’s Clutch – Express Earrings & Bracelet – Swarovski
