SKINCARE & MAKEUP ROUTINE

In this New Year, I decided to try some new additions to my skincare & makeup routine! Ok, that’s not completely true, I adopted these products a month ago, so that I could begin to see some results before I reported them to you!  Here are my thoughts:

1- Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair: Never go to sleep without washing your face, removing your makeup and applying a serum. Mark my words! Skin naturally renews at night, which means that it absorbes whatever is on the surface. So what do you rather your skin to absorb: old makeup clogging pores or a moisturizing serum that will work to prevent aging at the same time as hydrating your skin? We both know the answer to that question! ;) So, since I have been using this serum, my skin feels a lot more hydrated, radiant, glowing & smooth. Some people at work even said it looks like “porcelaine – perfect”. Now, who doesn’t like that type of comments? The application is very easy, it comes with a tiny pump that dispenses the perfect amount of the serum. The product is supposed to be scent free but I find that it actually smells a bit herbal, which I really like. It’s perfect to apply before using your daily moisturizer and together with the eye concentrate. I don’t really have any wrinkles on my face but I do have some visible ones on my neck and after applying this serum religiously, I can definitely see the wrinkles slightly reduced. The serum is oil free and it’s great for all skin types! Retails for $86 (30ml), $120 (50ml) or $230 (115ml). You don’t require much of the product at every use, so it’s a very good investment!

2- Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Concentrate Matrix: Have you ever been woken up by a fire alarm at 4am for no reason (like, no real fire occured)? Well, I have and let me tell you, my eyes were not pretty that day. Completely puffy & tired looking. So, I must say I’ve been super excited to try out this product! The formula is ultra nourishing, reduces puffines & dark circles, and of course, it hydrates! The applicator is really cool, massages the eyes during application. The scent is very similar to the serum. LOVE this product. Next time the alarm wakes me up at 4am, I’ll be ready! Retails for $88.

3- Pure Color Envy Matte Lipsticks (colors 113 raw edge & 121 decisive): First of all, let me tell you that I’m truly obsessed by lipstick! I honestly cannot say how many I have, but I’m pretty sure it’s a lot. Like, if I had to guess, I would ball park that number to around 70! Is that crazy? I don’t think so. Each one is unique, a completely different shade and it’s so much fun to play around with them. I can’t have enough lipsticks so naturally I had to give the envy matt lip a try! I love the colors – they’re perfect for Fall/Winter. The lipsticks are creamy & comfortable, they don’t dry out the lips even though they are matte and they stays put all.day.long! It’s especially great in winter b/c my lips get easily chapped and it’s not the case with these lipsticks. They are now part of my collection. Retail for $38 each.

Kisses,

WCX
