I just love it when people are passionate about what they do; passion truly shows! Two brothers + huge passion for food = the best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had! Mtl Dwn is not a typical fast food counter, nor is this a typical grilled cheese! Each sandwich is unique & crafted to perfection after months and sometimes years of trial and error to get the recipe just right! Have you ever had a lasagna grilled cheese?! The sandwiches are freshly made on order with local ingredients and let me tell you, the flavors are out of this world! I tried out 4 types of grilled cheeses at Mtl Dwn: lasagna, pulled pork, cheesecake (yes for dessert, no joke) and a 4th one I cannot yet reveal as it will be on the menu starting early November (very soon…) – but let me tell you, it will blow your mind! Each sandwich was crispy & the blend of flavors was delicious. I ate this on a Friday night and was craving it badly on the Sunday – addiction warning! The quality of the food is unbeatable and the prices are really low for a fast grab during lunch! They also serve beer, which is awesome for a 5@7 after work. Definitely a place to try – I will be coming back for sure!
