Happy Friday – what’s your Work From Home Uniform on Friday?! Mine are these Everlane sweats! #WFH is definitely our new reality and it’s here to stay. Truth be told, I love working from home. Avoiding the morning & evening traffic allows me to workout, read books & prepare home cooked meals. I’m better able to focus in my home office in silence or listening to classical or study-type music (big fan of coffee shop noise and Chilled Cow on Youtube). I feel like there is less interruptions, since I can put myself on “do not disturb” when I’m working on something very important that requires my full attention. I feel like meetings are more efficient & less frequent. I often go on walks during lunchtime to clear my head & come back to work refreshed and energized. I do miss the human contact, but I think a better balance could be struck in the future, once we’ve moved on from the pandemic.
I love clothes & dressing up during the week for my Zoom calls, but when the week starts to whine down, so does my dress code. I love spending my Fridays working in sweats, that’s why it’s my work from home uniform, but not just any sweats. I love putting on stylish, trendy & comfortable sweats like this Everlane oversized crew & these joggers. Mint, like many pastels are big this Spring, which is why I gravitated towards this color. This set looks amazing when you layer a camel coat on top & I like to add a few layers of gold necklaces to complete the outfit. These sweats are great for running errands during the day, especially when I need to ship or pick up a package, or do a grocery run. Love Everlane’s commitment to sustainability and these two pieces are made out of 100% organic cotton. Sizing wise, they are true to size, I got size M in both top & bottom and they both fit me perfectly. This set also comes in black, heather grey & apricot. I might need to get my hands on the black set!
