Kicked off NYFW with the Indonesian Diversity FW19 Runway Show featuring some amazing designers. I wanted to share with you guys some highlights of my fave looks on the cat walk.

2Madison Avenue: The runway was filled with vibrant colours, luxurious fabrics & intricate designs. Main colours that dominated this runway were hot pink, orange, yellow & white – which indicates that the pop of colours coming to life this Spring will continue well into the Fall. So whatever pop of colour you will be purchasing in the next couple of months will definitely be a worthwhile investment.

Dian Pelangi: she simply wow-ed me! The long belts covered in the brand’s logo dominated the runway, leaving me earning for one of those real bad! It was culture meets street style: trendy, cool & modern – the hijab looked stunning on all the models! The main colors were pink & black; lots of prints & beautiful details.

Itang Yunasz: Luxurious prints, flowy dresses & intricate embroidery reigned over this boho-chic runway. Rustic orange & aubergine were the prominent colours and I fell in love with the stunning statement jackets & the details on the maxi dresses. The cohesiveness of this catwalk was underlined by the stunning shiny satin fabric turbans worn by all the models.

Alleira Batik: Chic & sophisticated, this runway was filled with beautifully embroidered dresses & jackets, silk & organza fabrics & stunning prints. The main colors were red & aqua blue, with my favourite two dresses featured in this post.

The entire show was fun & up-beat, from the clothing, the music & the entire atmosphere – thank you so much for having me!
