NYC STREETSTYLE

The Pantone colour of the year 2020 is Classic Blue and given that it’s one of my fave colours, I knew that one of my NYFW outfits had to have a pop of blue! I styled this beautiful blue C/Meo Collection wool coat with a neutral outfit: Aritzia cream sweater & silk skirt! I topped off the outfit with these Aldo Priella dark pink booties , a beige beret, and Chanel handbag & brooch. You can easily take this outfit from the streets on NYC to your office!

Whenever I’m styling outfits for NYFW, I always stay true to myself and my sense of style, but also true to Working Chix. I decided to write this blog in order to share the things I love & to give you some great ideas on what to wear to the office, and that is how I style all my outfits, with the office in mind.

All the pieces of this outfit can be broken down and mixed & matched with other pieces in your closet. In the past couple of months, I’ve really been reflecting on Sustainability. As much as I love fashion, I’m a true believer that we should do more with less! It happens that this year’s color of the year is Blue, but this coat is timeless. It’s a classic wool coat that will withstand the test of time. In fact, I purchased this coat two years ago and I still love it, and given the high quality of craftsmanship, it still looks brands new! The same goes for a classic Chanel bag or a neutral outfit.

As Spring arrives and you want to refresh your wardrobe, start with shopping your closet, take an inventory of what you already have and what you’d like to add. Buy pieces that match what you already own; things that won’t go out of style; this that fit you well and things you’ll keep loving for years to come.

Kisses,
